If
you like to camp but don't have a camper, we have one available to rent. If you
prefer something a little more comfortable, we offer lodging in the Marshal's
Suite in the main building. It can sleep up to 8 people.
Even if you're
not looking for a horse campground or RV park, True West provides access to many
other activities offered in the Big South Fork National River and Recreation
Area . The Park is one of the most popular outdoor destinations in Tennessee
with hiking, fishing, hunting, white water rafting, kayaking, four-wheeling, and
mountain biking.
Motorcycle touring groups also find the area a great
place to ride.
The True West Mercantile is located in the main building
to provide camping supplies, horse tack, maps, firewood, ice, and gift items as
well as western wear, hats, boots and accessories.
The natural beauty of
this wilderness area will draw you to the Big South Fork. It will be the genuine
friendliness, positive atmosphere, and great hospitality ~ as well as the best
horspitality ~ that will bring you back over and over again.
